I am originally from Philadelphia and attended Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. My husband, Bill, and I married in 1975 and have two grown daughters. We also have a grandson, Connor and a granddaughter, Addison.
My teaching career began upon graduation and I taught in two different schools for five years because my husband was in the service. I was a stay at home mom for nine years and when we moved to Georgia, I returned to teaching at Still Elementary. Twenty four years later, I am still here and have taught first, second and fourth grades. This wonderful school has such memories for me and I have been fortunate to teach several children in the same family, along with so many wonderful students. It is great to start another year and encourage your children to enjoy learning!
